J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers, a division of Somerset Welding and Steel, Inc., and a leading manufacturer of dump bodies and trailers, today announced that a J&J truck body received a first place award for best dump truck at the T.FC. Truck Rally held on June 24, 2000 in Carlisle, PA. The award was given in recognition of overall presentation, uniqueness, and cleanliness in the dump truck category. The truck also received a runner-up award for Best of Show.

The dump truck body, mounted on a Peterbilt chassis, was placed in the competition by the owner, Verrazano Contractors, Inc. Verrazano is a family owned general contractor specializing in hauling aggregrate materials. The company is located in Worcester, PA and has been in business since 1975.
