J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers, a leading manufacturer of dump bodies and trailers, today announced the completion of a new double dump trailer that can carry a gross vehicle weight of 158,000 pounds. The trailer was designed and built for Royal Truck & Trailer Sales & Services, Inc., an authorized J&J distributor, located in Dearborn and Kalamazoo, Michigan. The double trailer has two lightweight aluminum bodies that allow operators to haul the maximum payload possible under Michigan law.

Gary Zacharias of Royal Truck & Trailer Sales & Services commented, "Our customers are looking for the most efficient and cost-effective way to haul material. J&J's steel frame, double aluminum trailer answers this need by giving them a product that maximizes the payload and adheres to guidelines set by the state of Michigan." This double trailer is the first of six on order with J&J Truck Bodies. It is designed to haul construction materials, gravel, asphalt, sludge, sand, and other solid materials. With state-of-the-art hydraulic systems in place, drivers can easily and quickly discharge the load from each of the two trailers. J&J will also be building steel double trailers for hauling heavier construction and excavation materials.

Royal Truck & Trailer Sales & Services, Inc., the only ISO 9002 certified distributor in Michigan, has also placed orders for 6-axle live floor aluminum trailers and steel pup trailers.
